Reflecting on recent events related to the problem known today as "huachicoleo" in which we also all participate, yes all, some actors of this scene are affected from different perspectives and moments, but it is a problem that involves us and that we can´t stop observing , that although the current administration has placed special emphasis on combating and eradicating it, it has deep, old roots and transforms interests at all levels of administration, extending to the spheres of power and control at the highest levels, which have been found in the alliances with the same organized crime one way to the detriment of all Mexicans, of making themselves wealthy, but what we are probably not seeing in this whole equation is that as Mexican citizens we have a high responsibility, yes, let’s not forget that we also need to be aware that corruption is a cancer that eats up even the most remarkable institution, the truth is that we can´t eternally blame others for our actions and to the extent that as citizens from our trench strengthen the most basic principles and return to the essential and important coexistence in society, which results in the promotion of values, a daily impulse to do the right thing even when our environment does not seem to be the most convenient; that is the real way to fight the evil that afflicts our Mexican society, to the extent that we not only become the toughest critics of the political and economic scene of our country, but actively participate in becoming those vigilant goals, congruent and even courageous defenders of the values of honesty and transparency not encouraging in our daily activity what has lacerated our home, Mexico.
Let’s not leave our present in the hands of others, let’s be brave, Mexico needs us, it needs citizens committed to themselves but also as a social entity that contributes and adds to the life of our country, let’s not forget that Mexico is a country that throughout history has had moments that have put many political actors in the spotlight, but the truth is that the basis of all those moments has always been society and its interaction with the country, we are the ones that are constantly changing, let us not allow our own vitiated environment to move us from the values that in principle govern our life in the private, so that in the public we can act making the difference.
So let’s get back to the basics! Because we are not oblivious to the pain that our country suffers, but we are protagonists and actors of the present that can make the difference of our Mexico.
